Soil Sisters Podcast Series: Voices Rooted in Resilience

The Soil Sisters podcast series treats listening as feminist. Its episodes map barriers like land  access, precarity, migration, care burdens, and low institutional trust; however, Soil Sisters’ guests lift up everyday strengths such as mutual aid, territorial markets, cultural memory, and collective organising. Check out the new episode (episode 5) on feminist agroecological schools and catch up on the other episdoes on the SWIFT portal or Spotify now!

Talking about the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP)

How can the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) reform for 2027-2034 become more gender-inclusive? This was explored by farmers, EU policymakers, researchers, and civil society organisations during the Policy Dialogue held in Brussels on 2 October 2025, organised by Oxfam as part of the SWIFT project. Hear from Maria, livestock farmer in Galicia, below and check out the rest of the videos here.

Calling all farmers, researchers, policy makers and CSOs – join our agroecology and feminism conference from 2-4 December!

At this moment of chaos and interconnected crises, marked by climate change, biodiversity loss, democratic backsliding and the expansion of armed conflicts we are witnessing a rapid erosion of collective rules. Wars are devastating lives, territories and the climate, while food is being used as a weapon. In this context, the need to advance food sovereignty, agroecology, and feminism is more urgent than ever.

In this context, we are creating spaces for horizontal discussions and creation of alliances among social movements, researchers and civil society to advance feminist agroecology and solidarity across the world. Farmers, policy makers, researchers and CSOs will gather in Brussels in December to share contributions and experiences relating to feminism and agroecology.

If you are interested in sharing your experiences or learning from the depth of knowledge developed within the project and beyond, head to the SWIFT website for more info, the call for proposals and registration.

Check out the SWIFT playlist here.

Share your climate adaptation story

Climate change is deeply impacting agroecological farming. The SWIFT (Supporting Women-Led Innovations in Farming and Rural Territories) project invites farmers and farmer groups to create short videos (3–7 minutes) showcasing the challenges they face and the strategies they use to adapt to climate chaos.

No technical experience is needed. Your story matters. The videos will support awareness campaigns and peer-to-peer training for young farmers, and will be shared via the YouTube channel of Centro Internazionale Crocevia.

We especially encourage women, young people, migrant agricultural workers, and LGBTQIA+ farmers to participate.
